Kristy (B.Ed, M.A) is a learning disabilities tutor and special needs teacher with over 18 years of experience. She helps neurotypical learners and students with learning difficulties achieve their full potential in life.

Our learning disabilities tutor Kristy, has a Bachelor of Education from RMIT, Melbourne, and a Masters in Literacy Learning and Literacy Difficulties from University College London’s Institute of Education, U.K. The Institute ranked number one for education worldwide in the 2014, 2015, 2016, 2017, 2018, 2019, and 2020 QS World University Rankings.

Kristy specialises in teaching and supporting learners with a variety of learning profiles including students with neurological disorders and complex communication needs such as Cerebral Palsy; neurodiverse students with dyscalculia, dyspraxia, ADHD, speech, language and communication needs, or sensory processing needs; and neurotypical children with difficulties in literacy and mathematics.

Kristy has taught in mainstream, special needs and home schools both in Australia and the U.K, including a Conductive Education centre for children with Cerebral Palsy and a school for children with profound and multiple learning difficulties. Kristy has designed and written bespoke, holistic learner specific curricula for special needs schools and home schools and helped to develop a new school for children with speech, language and communication needs.

Kristy is a dedicated, knowledgeable and professional teacher who will provide targeted, tailored learning plans and one to one private tutoring that engages children in learning in the manner that best suits their needs.
